Although the editing side of the software is easy and quick, the rendering side of the software is very slow depending on what format your rendering to compared to other software I have used.
In conclusion though final cut express is easy to use, can cut, edit and create videos very quick. It is very easy to do and I have learned how to use this software quick.
- When first using final cut there was allot to take in but the keyboard shortcuts and previous use of editing software made the introduction to final cut easier.
- I found that the layout of Final cut is much more complex than I movie. I found the two viewing screens very useful as it makes it easier to edit and add clips.
- The time line on the bottom is good as it is easy to define different clips and tracks.
- I found it easier to edit the audio track on final cut as opposed to I movie.
- The box on the upper left part of the screen where the clips are kept made it hard for me to clarify which clips i have used and have not.
- The dials used to change images and clips are confusing. It is hard to alter the size or to crop a clip by only using slider or numbers
